Pedro T. Munoz, 96, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Saturday, March 31, 2018. Pedro was born in Lockhart, Texas on January 13, 1922 to Joe and Luz (Torres) Munoz. Mr. Munoz served in the United States Army during World War II. He relocated to Toledo where he worked on the railroad, Rossford Ordinance Depot, and retired from the United States Postal Service after 35 years. He cherished the many trips to San Marcos, Texas to visit family and was active in local politics. Pedro is survived by his children, Ninfa Kisch, Ernest Munoz, Erma Suchora, Gerry Gimenez, Ricky (Rosa) Munoz, Rachel Munoz, and Lucy Hall; 30 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Pedro Munoz Jr,; and siblings, Voctoria, Velia, Antonio, Roslia and Valentine. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm. Interment: Lake Township Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Disabled American Veterans.
