Peggy Jo Lewis, 50, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday July 2, 2015. She was born in Toledo on August 18, 1964 to Eddie and Rita (Thompson) Lewis. Peggy was a graduate of Waite High School and a member of Western Avenue Ministries. Peggy enjoyed arts and crafts, especially plastic canvas artwork. Peggy is survived by her children, Kaylyn (Ron) Hite, Kyle (Heidi) Lewis, Kristen (Derek) Sowell and Kody Lewis; grandchildren, Harmony, Derek Jr., Lailah, Kallie, Oriana, Kalea and Aolani; sisters, Val (Bruce) Hofbauer, Linda (Will) Austin, Donna (Larry) Lesley and Brandy Harroun; brother, Bud (Pam) Helton; best friends, Nicole and Miss Cyndi; companion dog, Bella; and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 South Coy Road on Tuesday, July 7 from 1:30 until 4:30 p.m., with funeral services to follow.
