Phillip W. Dominique, 93, passed away on December 8, 2009 at Parkcliffe at Northwood. He was born on September 18, 1916 to John and Alice (Miller) Dominique. Phillip was a World War II Army Veteran who was awarded the Purple Heart. He worked at Libbey Owens Ford until his retirement. Phillip had a love for birds, enjoyed carving wood, and gardening. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Disabled American Veterans. Phillip is survived by his children, Denise (Daniel) LeGrand, Phillip (Chris) Dominique, and Sue Ann Bigelow; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; brothers, Joseph, George, John and James Dominique; sisters, Katherine Buchanan, Josephine Adkins, Alice Dominique. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 509 Oswald St., Toledo, where the family will greet friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Internment will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Heartland Home Health and Hospice.
