Phillip M. Kochanski, 53, of Oregon, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2006 in St. Charles Mercy Hospital. Phillip was born in Toledo on December 27, 1952. He was a 1970 graduate of Waite High School. Mr. Kochanski was employed for 33 years at SBC before his retirement in 2004. Phillip was an avid duck hunter and also was the owner and operator of Smack 'Em Waterfowl Guides. He also was a collector of Wildlife Art and a devoted muscle car enthusiast, owning a 1967 Nova. Surviving are his loving wife, Linda; children, Phillip Jr. (Teresa), Robert "Bob" and Joe Kochanski; parents, Joseph and Anna "Bonnie" Kochanski; brother, Jeff (Sue) Mahnen; grandchildren, Amber, Derek, Austin and Kaitlyn Kochanski; nephews, Chris and Mark Mahnen. He will be deeply missed by all his family and special friends. Visitation will be held Monday from 5 to 9 pm and Tuesday from 2 to 9 pm in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Avenue where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery. Visitation: Visitation Times 5-9 Monday & 2-9 Tuesday Oregon Chapel
