Phyllis R. Bauman, 74, of Northwood, OH passed away on August 27, 2006, in her home. She was born in Toledo on July 20, 1932, to Harry and Pearl (Goachee) Bock. Phyllis was employed with Hunt Wesson Foods for 25 years, retiring in 1997. She was past president of Cooley Canal Yacht Club Ladies Auxiliary, past president of the CCYC Satin Gavel and past president of the Walbridge/Lake Township Fire Bells. Phyllis is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Gerald "Jerry"; sons, Barry, Thomas (Debbie); daughters, Gail Sundermeier, Rebekah (Daniel) Root and Karen (Richard) Murphy; sister, Virginia Monnett; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Myrl Bock; brothers, Chalmer and Herbert; sisters, Ellen Hallauer and Donna Lininger and great-grandsons, Damien Bauman and Robert Kaetzel. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd. on Wednesday, August 30, 2006, from 2 until 9 p.m. where an International Satin Gavel service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
