Publication Date - October 17, 2003 Symbols - no Picture - no Phyllis M. Conner Phyllis M. Conner, 81, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2003 in St. Charles Mercy Hospital. She was the widow of Harry Conner who passed away in 1993. She was a Woman's Army Corp veteran of World War II. She was a member of the Business and Professional Womans Association, National League of Woman Voters, Womans Army Corp Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Surviving are her sister, Mary Wenholtz; step-children, Virginia Todd, Cheryl Fosgate, David Conner, Kay Conner and many grand and great grand children. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth and Marvin Reed; sister, Dorothy Brown. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1:00 pm in the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road Oregon, Ohio where visitation will be Monday from 11:00 am until services begin at 1:00. Interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery.
