Phyllis L. Hallock, 92, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on May 24, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. Phyllis was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on May 4, 1926 to Kenneth and A. Lucien (Woodward) Finley. After graduating high school she would marry the love of her life on May 25, 1944, Bert J. Hallock who would preceded her in death in 1991. Phyllis worked at Nordman Roofing as an office manager for 25 years before retiring in 1988. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, loved traveling to see her sister as well as bus trips with her girlfriends. Phyllis also enjoyed spending time at the Oregon Senior Center, but what she cherished most was her family and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed. Phyllis is survived by her sons, Mike Hallock, Tom (Ruth) Hallock and daughter-in-law, Kay Ann; grandchildren, Amy, Kim (Dan), Kelly, Rick (Michelle), Marsha. She was blessed with 7 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert J; parents and son, Bruce Hallock. Friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm. The family will also greet friends on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Christ United Methodist Church, 5757 Starr Ave., Oregon, Ohio from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 am.
