Phyllis P. Holley, 91, Oregon, OH, passed away November 3, 2005, in St. Charles Mercy Hospital. She was born in Sherwood, OH, on March 10, 1914, to Cash and Clara (Miller) Bashore. At one time, Phyllis was employed by Jeep at the Willys-Overland Plant and as a bookkeeper at the Lucas County Bank. She enjoyed dancing, attending senior center activities in east and south Toledo, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her many friends. Phyllis is survived by her son, Norman (Connie) Holley, Stillwater, MN; daughters, Joyce (Bob) Justus, Toledo, OH and Janet Wesley, Bluffton, SC; brother, Neil Bashore; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grand-children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; parents; daughter, Carol Ann Holley; 2 brothers and 1 sister and great-granddaughter, Rachel Ann Holley. Friends and family may visit at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH, on Sunday, November 6, 2005, from 2-6 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Salvation Army.
