Phyllis Kay Methena, 77, of Wauseon, Ohio, formerly of Toledo, Ohio went to visit her family in Heaven on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. She was born in South Bend, Indiana on March 22, 1941. Kay graduated from Waite High School. She enjoyed bingo, casinos and shopping. Kay is survived by her husband of 59 years, William Methena; children, Laurie (Jeffrey) Whittecar and Jeremy (Jodi) Methena; grandchild, Shannon (Ralph) Luna; 7 great grandchildren; and siblings, Joyce, June, Butch, Donna, Pat, Joe, Theresa, Bruce and Tammy. S he was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Vera Jarvis; sister, Charlene Harbaugh and daughter, Penny Methena. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Monday, August 27, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Restlawn Memorial Park at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kay's name may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
