Phyllis M. Sigler, 83, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Phyllis was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 3, 1931 to Leonard and Alice (Bloom) Buchele. On March 7, 1947, she married Glenn C. Sigler, built a home, and raised their family in Oregon, Ohio. Phyllis enjoyed camping, traveling, sewing, crocheting, and baking pies for her family and friends. She was an active member of New Harvest Christian Church where she was active in women'™s ministries, singles ministries, and teaching Sunday School. Her true passion was loving and serving the lord as a prayer warrior and sending greeting cards to many. Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Glenna (Randy) Taylor, and Cathleen (Michael) Shobe; daughter-in-law, Julia Sigler; grandchildren, Brian (Carol) Sigler, Jeremy (Gretchen) Sigler, Sheri Sheabat, Rhonda Wise, Troy (Julie) Taylor, Holly (Michael) Wise; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Rebekah, Joshua, Hannah, Kyle, Timothy, Micah, Erin, Isaac, and Madalyn. Phyllis is also survived by many loving family members, friends, and her shih tzu, Megan. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn; and son, Jerry Sigler. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 11:00 am in New Harvest Christian Church, 3540 Seaman Road, Oregon, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am.
