Phyllis J. Snider, 83, of  Toledo, OH and formerly of Oregon, OH passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2007 in the Lutheran Home at Toledo. She was born in Toledo, OH on May 14, 1923 to William and Nellie (Keller)Davis.  Mrs. Snider had been employed as a nurse at St. Luke's Hospital, retiring in 1981. She was a past president of the Gold Star Wives, a member of Arlington Lutheran Church and the Disabled American Vets. Phyllis was active in all her children and grandchildren's activities including the Oakdale PTA and Mother's Club.   Phyllis is survived by her children, James (Cheryl), Bill (Denise), Carol Barailloux and Susanne Winterhalter; sister, Mary Thiessen; grandchildren, Christopher, Gregory, Robert, Stephen, Wade, Missy, Leah, Kristy, Emily, Will and 10 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert L. Snider and first husband, Wayne Williams.   Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 to 9 pm and Friday from 2 to 9 pm in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road.  Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10:30 am in the Lutheran Home at Toledo Chapel, 131 N. Wheeling Street, Toledo, Ohio.  Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Phyllis' memory are asked to consider the craft and garden programs at the Lutheran Home at Toledo.  The family wishes to thank the entire staff at the home for their loving care for their mother.
