Priscilla R. Mercurio, 96, of south Toledo passed away Saturday, March 11, 2006 in the Medical University of Ohio Hospital. She was born in Retkoz Berencs, Hungary on July 22, 1909 to Sandor and Maria (Kovi) Gall. Priscilla was a bookkeeper and stenographer for the Mercurio Brothers Wholesale Fruit and Produce Distributors she had also worked as a psychiatric aide for 20 years retiring as a supervisor for Toledo State Hospital. She was a member of Calvin United Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School for over 10 years. Surviving are her son, Joseph Mercurio; grandchildren, Diane, Valerie, Michael, Robert, Jason; numerous great grandchildren also survive. Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph; son, Robert; and her siblings. Visitation will be held on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm at the Kinsey Funeral Home Birmingham Chapel, 2001 Consaul Street, Toledo, Ohio.
