Rafaela Sandoval, 82, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023. She was born in San Jose de Otates, Mexico on December 15, 1940. From an early age Rafaela began her life of hard work and dedication to her family. In her 20's her family came to the United States. Rafaela's number one priority was providing for her family and being with them. She was an amazing cook, always making favorite dishes from scratch. Rafaela also loved tending to her vegetable and flower garden. Family and tradition were the pillars of her life and her legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rafaela is survived by her children, Roberto (Martina) Sandoval, Beatriz (Victor) Garduno, Antonio Sandoval, Rodrigo (Oralia) Sandoval, Martin (Cassandra) Sandoval; grandchildren, Silvia, Victor, Jesus, Natalia, Kristen, Marcos, Arianna, Jasmine, Alexis, Duke, Cristina, Vanessa, Rodrigo Jr.; 17 great-grandchildren, 4 brothers and many nieces nephews and loving family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 6 siblings.

In accordance with Rafaela's wishes, services will remain private. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
