Ralph B. Griggs, 61, of Defiance, Ohio and formerly of Toledo passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2004 at Toledo Hospital. Ralph was born on July 8, 1942 in Toledo to Ralph and Dorothy Griggs Sr. He was employed for over 20 years at General Tire in Bryan, Ohio as a boiler technician. Mr. Griggs collected historical cars, loved to watch John Wayne movies and enjoyed woodworking around the house. Ralph was the loving father of Beverly (John) Wetzel, Tracie Lindamood and William Griggs; grandson, Joshua Wetzel; sisters, Alva Wilhelm and Ruth Dunlap and special cousin, Peggy Wilhelm. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Marie Griggs. The family will receive friends in the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Woodville Road Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury, Ohio on Monday January 12, 2004 from 2 t 9 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
