Obituary

Ramon V. Barboza, age 66 years, of Genoa, went home on Saturday, November 5, 2005, at St. Charles Hospital surrounded by his family. He was employed by Cement Masons Local 886 for over 30 years, retiring due to a disability in 1995. He was born in San Juan, TX, in 1939, to Nicolas and Manuela (Villa) Barboza. He came to Ohio in the early 60's and married Alicia (Licha) Guerrero and came to love and raise her children. Preceded in death by his parents; wife and daughter, Alicia Guadalupe Barboza and brother, Lazaro (Larry) Barboza. He is survived by his siblings, Maria Robledo (Texas), Guadalupe Rodriguez (Oregon) and San Juana Rodriguez (Minnesota), and his children, Daniel Ramon Barboza, Bob (Irma) Guerrero, Melinda Sanchez, David Sanchez (Toledo) and Barbara (Alex) Cruz (Texas). He also adopted a grandson, Daniel R. Barboza II; 19 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren also survive and his pride of his life, Jane Jane, who never did anything wrong. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, 1111 Woodville Rd., Millbury, Ohio, on Tuesday from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a Rosary and Scripture Service Tuesday at 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, November 9, 2005, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Clay Township Cemetery. The family would like to thank the CCU unit of St. Charles Hospital. The family requests that tributes take the form of contributions to the Barboza Sanchez Scholarship Fund.
