Ramona Nuñez, 86, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2013, surrounded by her children and family members. Born in Puerto Rico on January 21, 1927, to her parents, Carmela Bello and Nicasio Hernandez. She married her first love and husband of many years, Victor Nuñez. Her passions in life were her beloved family and cooking a delicious meal at any given time. Ramona was a kind hearted woman with a heart of gold. Ramona is survived by her beloved children; Olga, Luis, William, Migdalia (Migasi), Orlando , Victor, Efrain, Freddy, Carlos, Edgar and Madeline Nuñez; Also survived by her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Edwin; and daughters Mildred and Carmen Nuñez, who will be greeting her in heaven. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. , on Thursday, November 21 from 4-8 p.m. and Friday November 22 from 4-8 p.m. with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Saturday November 23 at 12:00 p.m. with entombment following at Ottawa Hills Memorials Park.
