Ramona R. York, 92, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Thursday, August 12, 2021 surrounded by her family. Ramona was born in Toledo, Ohio April 5, 1929. In February 1951, she married Edward York. She was a longtime member of the Spade & Trowel Garden Club and was proud of the many flowers she grew around her home. Her greatest joys were hosting holiday gatherings for her family, making crafts, crocheting, and sewing. Ramona is survived by her children, Gregory (Malinda) York, and Vickie (Ron) Hoeft; son-in-law, Robert Stevenson; grandchildren, Shayne York, Robin (Joe) Abbruzzese, Amanda (Levi) Goodin, Marissa Stevenson, and Preston Stevenson; great-grandchildren, Maverick & Moxley Abbruzzese & Braven & Porter Goodin. Preceded in death by her mother, Marguerite Salzwedel; husband, Edward; and daughter, Paula Stevenson. Private family services will held at Toledo Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy may be directed in the form of contributions to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or a charity of the donor's choice.
