Randall E. Cammarn, 57, of Oregon, OH passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Friday, March 17, 2006 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Randy was born on April 29, 1948 in Toledo, OH to Roy and Mildred (Ellis) Cammarn Sr. He was employed with New Mather Metals as a facilitator with the company and also a QS9000 auditor, prior he was employed with Champion for 27 years. Randy was a member of Christ United Methodist Church where he sang in the church choir. Randy was also a member of the Oregon Community Theater, a 14 year member of the Choraliers and a past member of Oregon JCC.
Surviving are his loving wife of 37 years, Diane; children, Heather Cammarn and Michelle (Patric) Dove; grandchildren, Moira and Declan Dove; sister, Sue (Jim) Lloyd; father-in-law, Earl Canton. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Roy Cammarn Jr.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Tuesday, March 21 from 12-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Christ United Methodist Church, 5757 Starr Ext., Oregon and where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Christ United Methodist Church or to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
Randy's family would like to express their thanks to Leslie Witherell, his counselor; Laura Devore and Cynthia Loo, personal nurses, and to all the nurses, doctors and staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio for all the love and support provided to Randy during his very brave courageous battle of pancreatic cancer.
