Ray L. Bachar, 75, of Oregon, OH passed away September 22, 2005 in the Darlington House. He was born in Toledo, OH on January 28, 1930 to Pearl and Edna (Hampton) Bachar. Ray was a veteran of the US Army, and was employed by the Libbey Glass Co. as a machine repairman for 39 years. He enjoyed bowling, coaching football, baseball, and playing golf in his leisure time. Surviving are his wife, Helen; son, Mike (Libbi) Bachar; daughters, Tina (Kent) Nagel, Debra (Abel) Parra, Lisa (James) Slater; brother, Richard Bachar; sisters, Dorothy Holmes and Thelma Baldwin 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Ray was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Nancy Mowrer, brothers, Robert and Donald.. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road. On Sunday, September 25, 2005 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 5:00 p.m. The family suggests memorial contributions in Ray's name be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
