Raymond Aldridge, 79, of Oregon passed away April 7, 2009. He was born in Findlay, Ohio on May 1, 1929 to Percy and Fern (Otto) Aldridge. Raymond was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had been employed by the City of Oregon as an equipment operator. He was a member of the American Legion Dunberger Post and enjoyed fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, bird watching and following the Browns and Tigers.
Surviving are his loving wife, Sherry; children, Suzanne (Enrique) Casique, James (Sandra) Aldridge, Eugene (Cheryl) Aldridge; stepson, David Biglow; stepdaughter, Kim (Larry) Chambers; sister, Winona Duenki; grandchildren, Julie, Christopher, Ian, Seth, Jessica, Kenny, Vanessa, Jeff, and David; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Katerina, Aurora, and Giovanni; and many nieces and nephews. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Phyllis; brothers, Don, Dick, and Eugene; sisters, Vivian and Ruth.
A Memorial Service will be held at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.
