Raymond Bermejo, 47, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Monday, December 9, 2002. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 4, 1955 to Raymond, Sr. and Tomasa (Garcia)Bermejo. Raymond was a Local #324 member employed by S.E. Johnson as a truck driver mechanic and was a big Raiders fan often quoted as saying Dont be a hater be a Raider. Surviving are his children, Raymond, Jr. and Leticia Bermejo, Alejandro Garza and mother of his children, Marta Bermejo; sisters, Debra (Brian) Bermejo, Amelia Leigh (Paul) Ruiz, Sandra Lisa (Rick) Kline, Connie (Grip) Carter, Serena (Taylor) Alsept; brothers, David G. (Lisa), Michael (Pam), Robert (Carol), Timothy (Lisa) and Thomas; grandfather, Federico Garza; special friend, Kelly Snow; many nephews, nieces and friends. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon Q. and Tomasa N.Bermejo. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Avenue, Oregon, Ohio on Wednesday from 5-9 pm and Thursday from 2-9 pm with a rosary service at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
