Raymond J. Cedoz, 75, of Curtice, Ohio, passed away November 9, 2009, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Ray was born on January 17, 1934, to Raymond and Clara (Romstadt) Cedoz. Ray was a lifetime farmer in Jerusalem Township and he also was a shift foreman at Toledo Edison for over 35 years, retiring in 1990. Ray was a lifetime member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and also served as a Jerusalem Township trustee. Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Jeanette; children, Karen A. (Jim) Dore, Roger T. (Cindy) Cedoz, Michael R. (Brenda) Cedoz, and Steven A. (Michele) Cedoz; brothers, Gerald B. (Virginia) Cedoz and Bernard (Donna) Cedoz; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grand-children; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of Ray's life will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 N. Stadium Rd., Oregon, Ohio, where the family will greet friends at 9:00 a.m. A luncheon will be served at the church immediately following the Mass of Christian Burial. Per Ray's wishes, his body was donated to the University of Toledo Medical Center.
