Raymond G. Zenz, 74, of Toledo, Ohio known to many friends and family members as "Raisins" went to be with the Lord on Saturday April 12, 2003. Ray was born in Toledo on November 13, 1928 to Carl and Eriel (Furlow) Zenz. Ray owned and operated the RG Zenz Company for 22 years then went to work for Ed Kelly & Sons where he retired in 1984. He was a member of the Robinson Locke Masonic Lodge for 50 years. Ray was also a member and past president of the Exchange Club of North Toledo. He was also the publisher of the club's newsletter. Ray was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Ray had a love for antique cars buying and selling traded parts with fellow enthusiasts from around the world. He also formed the "Durant Family Registry" antique car club. Ray is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Phyllis; children; Jeffrey Raymond (Kellie) Zenz, Cathy Lynn (Bruce) Scherer, Pamela Marie (Barry) Klatt; grandchildren, Jonathan, Justin, Kristen Zenz, Jason, Heather Klatt, Ryan, Kelsey Scherer. Ray was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Richard Zenz. Visitation will be held on TuesdayApril 15, 2003 from 2-5 pm and 6-8 pm at the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon and where funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 16, 2003 at 1:00 pm Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
