Raymond G. Leck, 93, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Parkcliffe in Northwood. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on June 17, 1929 to George and Helen (Lange) Leck. Ray graduated from Macomber High School in 1947 and would go on to proudly serve his county in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. On October 2, 1954 he would marry the love of his life, Winzell (Jordan) who preceded him in death. Ray attended the University of Toledo and obtained his Bachelor's in Psychology. He worked at Chrysler as a Foreman for several years before retiring in 1985. Ray was a faithful parishioner at St. Jerome Catholic Church. He was an avid golfer and fisherman, but loved spending any time he could outdoors. Most recently he found peace watching birds. He will be forever missed by those who loved him
Ray is survived by his children, Lori (Robert) Scott, Holly (Kevin) Michalski, Steven (Opal) Leck; grandchildren, Steven Leck Jr., Ryan Lee Leck, Shane Leck, Jenna Lee Michalski, Jordan Michael Michalski; great-grandchildren, Hudson Grace, Norah Lee; and brother, Vernon Leck of Seattle. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Winzell; and brothers, Don and Norm Leck.
The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in Ray's name may be directed to, Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Alzheimer's Association.
