Raymond R. Reinbolt, 85, of Millbury, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2003 at Genoa Care Center, with his children at his side. He is reunited at last with his beloved wife, Frances, who passed away in December of 2001, and his grandson, Curt. Raymond was born on November 4, 1917 in Bascom, Ohio to the late John and Pearl (Andrews) Reinbolt. He attended Genoa High School and served his country in the US Army during WW II stationed in Japan. Ray was employed for the Sun Oil Company as a pipefitter for 37 years, before his retirement in 1978. He was an active member of the German American Chub, 4th Degree Knights of Columbus of Walbridge and a member of St. Jerome Church. Raymond loved fishing, gardening and canning his famous pickles and peppers. He is survived by his sons, James (Becky), David (Marilyn), Robert (Debbie), William (Jamie) and Richard; daughter, Christine Long; brother, John Reinbolt; sisters, Eleanor Nolte and Sr. Mary Damian, grandchildren, Sarah, Paul, Tom, Lea, Carrie, Raquel, Lindsey, and Julie; great grandchildren, Sydney, Simon, Sylvie, Rachel, Zev and Skye. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 9 pm where Knights of Columbus will be standing honor guard from 5 unitl 9 pm. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Monday at 10:30 am and proceed to St. Jerome Church for 11:00 am Mas of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery.
