Raymond H. Wilson, 82, of Toledo, passed away on March 17, 2017 at Orchard Villa. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 3, 1934 to Harold and Josephine (Boudrie) Wilson. Ray was a switchman for the C & O Railroad before he retired in 1986. An avid sports fan, Ray loved Notre Dame and enjoyed fishing, tennis, Federation football, YMCA basketball and softball. Ray enjoyed collecting model trains, but what was most important to him was spending time with his family. Ray is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Carole; children, Beverly (Dale) Carnevale, Michael (Sue) Wilson, Vicky Nuhfer, Dale Wilson; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; siblings, Donna Achter, Barbara Moore; brother-in-law, Bud Kohne. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Paul Wilson; sisters, Marilyn Kohne and Dorothy Tomczak. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 11:00 am until the time of funeral services at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
