Raymond Frank Zbierajewski, 82, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg. Ray was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 23, 1930 to Stephen and Cecelia (Formaniak) Zbierajewski. On August 22, 1951, he married Gloria J. Hallauer. Ray served his country in the US Army from 1950-1954 as a Jump Master and was a part of the Special Forces. He was employed with Nabisco for 37 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Ray'™s true passion was spending time with his family who loved him dearly and misses him greatly. Ray is survived by his wife of 61 years, Gloria; children, Jane Zbierajewski, Connie Mikesell, and Steven (Jodi) Zbierajewski; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and favorite canine friend, Carson. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Tuesday, October 30th, from 2:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 31st at 10:30 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
