Rayner P. Lark, 88 of Curtice, Ohio, passed away, Friday, November 7, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio with his loving wife at his side. Pete was born in Toledo, Ohio on August, 16, 1926 to Gustave and Blanche (Bercher) Lark. He was a Waite High School graduate. Pete was a WWII US Army Veteran. He had worked for the former Pure Oil Company and then went on to work for Sears, as head of the Maintenance Department. Pete will always be known as 'œMr. Fix It', being able to fix or repair anything. He enjoyed his dogs Tiger and Bernie. He also enjoyed playing softball, bowling and traveling with his wife. Pete was a member of the Arthur Daly Legion where he was an active member.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Patricia A.; nieces and nephews, Janice Reed, Robert Dearing, John & Jeff Lark, MaryJo Waite, Patricia Johnston, Christy Leiter-Morris, Susan Michelson, Michelle Okeefe and many great nieces and nephews. Pete was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Virginia Dearing, Lester and Donald Lark.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-8 pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 611 Woodville Road, Toledo, where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Pete'™s memory are asked to consider St. Mark Lutheran Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio
