Rev. Charles Willmann, 84, of Toledo, OH passed away December 22, 2003 in St. Charles Mercy Hospital. He
was a former pastor of St. Mark Lutheran Church and Development Director of Lutheran Homes Society from
1972-1986. He also served at Martin Luther Lutheran in Bucyrus, OH, Grace Lutheran in Westerville, OH, St.John Lutheran in Canal Fulton, OH and St. John Lutheran in Stuebenville, OH. A member of East Toledo-Oregon Kiwanis Club for 30 years, he also volunteered at St. Charles Hospital for 25 years. He served as a board member of the Lutheran Homes Society, Lutheran Men's League, and the East Center for Community
Mental Health.
Rev. Willmann was preceded in death by wife, Mildred; brother, Rev. R. Wayne Willmann, Parma, OH; sisters,
Delight and Marjorie, Columbus, OH. Surviving are his wife, Evelyn; daughters, Karen (Ted) Davies, Fremont
and Ardith Willmann, Toledo; son, Rev. Ronald (Barbara) Willmann; stepdaughters, Jeanne (Rev. James)Zingale, Hubbard, OH and Anne Kershner, Dayton; stepson, Gerhardt (Heather) Wiegand of Rockville, MDand 7 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The body has been donated to the Medical College of Ohio, Toledo. The family will receive friends at St. Mark
Lutheran Church, Woodville Road at Elmore Streets, Toledo, Ohio on Saturday, December 27, 2003 two hours
prior to the memorial service scheduled for 11 am. A fellowship hour with refreshments will follow the service.The family suggests tributes be given to the Endowment/Memorial Funds of St. Mark Church, Lutheran Home
at Toledo, LSS of Northwest Ohio, or Trinity Seminary, Columbus. Arrangements are being handled by the
Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH.
