The Rev. Robert W. Blohm, of Oregon, Ohio, a faithful servant to his Lord, departed this life and entered his eternal reward on Sunday, July 31, 2022, with his loving family by his side. He was a humble and loving man. He had the ability to connect with people. He was down to earth. Bob was born May 20, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan to Robert W. Blohm Sr. and Patricia (Titus) Blohm. He was a devoted husband and father. Survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Linda M.; daughters, Michele (Fred) Rice and Heather (Brandon) Suto; sisters, Susan McDonald, and Julie (Gary) Ohlsson; brothers, Thomas (Janet) Blohm and Jeff (Karen) Blohm. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bob was a loving grandfather to Madison, Natalie and Scarlet Rice and Stephan (Ana) Hunter and Beth Suto. Bob graduated in 1969 from Fraser High School in Fraser, Michigan; Central Michigan University in 1973 and Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio in 1975. He was a Pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, serving churches in West Virginia (St. Matthews), New Jersey (Lord of Life) and Ohio (First St. John Lutheran) on Seaman St. where he served for 26 years. A Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life and Ministry of Bob will be held at First St. John Lutheran Church, 2471 Seaman Rd., Toledo, Ohio on Thursday, August 11, 2022. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider St. Jude Children's Hospital or a charity of the donor's choice.
