Rex A. Elkins Sr, 73 of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully Sunday, December 25, 2022 at his home. Rex was born November 13, 1949 in Toledo, Ohio to Russell and Luella Elkins. He served in the United States Navy and worked as a machinist with Jeep for 30 years. Mr. Elkins is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carol; children, Rex (Tanya) Elkins II, Russell (Darci) Elkins, David (Tammy) Elkins, Jennifer (Lee) Palmer, and Michael (Kim) Thompson; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Elkins. Private funeral services were held. Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home.
