Ricardo R. Vasquez, 56, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Monday, January 4, 2010 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. He was born in Oregon, Ohio on March 19, 1953 to Crescencio S. and Juanita (Rameriz) Vasquez. Ricardo loved Tejano music and dancing. He had a good heart, and was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. Ricardo will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Surviving are his father, Crescencio; brothers, Manuel R., Daniel (Genevieve), Crescencio J. (Stella) and Larry Vasquez; sisters, Auora (Cabilan) Arquelles, Stella Vasquez-Orozco and Joann (Nate); many nieces and nephews in Toledo, Detroit and San Antonio, TX. Ricardo was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita and brother, Raymond. Family and friends may visit at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Ave. on Sunday, January 10, 2010 from 1-9 p.m. The family will also greet friends on Monday in Sts. Peter & Paul Church, 728 S. St. Clair St. from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to Ricardo's family.
