Richard Agocs, 80, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on October 16, 2015. He was born on January 3, 1935 to Alexander and Margaret (Fargo) Agocs. Richard worked for LOF as a glass worker for 40 years before retiring in 1995. He married the love of his life Betty (Phillips) on September 11, 1954. He enjoyed farming with his grandfather when he was a young boy and continued that love of farming in his own garden in his later years. He adored his faithful companion Casey. Richard was an avid Detroit Tigers and Red Wings fan and also liked the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He was a simple good man, proud of his Hungarian heritage and will be deeply missed.
Richard is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betty; children, Richard (Michele) Agocs, Sandra (Dan) Ahumada, Rochelle (Mark) Gozdowski, Nicole Agocs; half-brother, John Rady; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Delanda Agocs. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Sharon; and son John "Jack" Agocs.
Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Monday, October, 19, 2015 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The family will greet friends at Epiphany of the Lord Parish-St. Stephen's Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 10:00 am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the Agocs Family.
