Richard J. Armstrong, 55, of Toledo, passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 at Arbors of Oregon. Rick was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 22, 1956 to Cleo and Alberta (Holdren) Armstrong. On February 19, 1983, he married Norma Lingo. Rick was employed as a counselor'™s aide with Mercy St. Vincent Hospital. He enjoyed working on computers and CB Radios. He was also an avid NASCAR fan. His true passion was spending time with his granddaughter, Aurora. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Norma; daughter, Jenell (Keith) Sowell; granddaughter, Aurora Sowell; and sister, Arlayne (Chuck) Berry. Richard is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Ronnie and Robert Armstrong. Private family services will be held. Kinsey-Pavley Funeral Home has assisted the family with arrangements.
