Richard Balazs, 65, of Toledo, OH, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2005, in his home. He was born in Toledo on August 16, 1939, to Julius and Lucille (Chubner) Balazs. Richard was employed at Textile Leather, Mel Berman Restaurant and Goodwill Industries. He was an avid Bible reader and an eagle enthusiast. Surviving are his sons, Wayne of Oregon, Ohio and Mark (Kim) of Liberty Center, Ohio; daughter, Peggy (Roger) Fausey of Napoleon, Ohio; sister, Sharon (Harold) Markley of Oregon, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Shelly. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2005 at 4 p.m. in the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, where visitation will be from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. Contributions in Richards name may be sent to Christians Childrens Fund Inc. or to the benevolence of the family.
