Richard Harcourt Butler, 73 of Oregon, Ohio passed away suddenly at Orchard Villa Nursing where he had been a resident. Richard was on born in Toledo, Ohio on December 18, 1948 to Earl Howard and Helen Louise (Lewis) Butler. He was a graduate of Rogers High School. Richard served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a landscaper for St. Charles Hospital and a custodian at Lutheran Home at Toledo. He loved cars especially new ones, hunting and fishing, car rides to any lake, having picnics. Surviving are his loving wife Dorothy Adams Butler, father-in-law, Robert S. Adams Sr; brother-in-law, Robert S. Adams Jr; sister-in-law, Sandra K. Adams Ahrens, many loving nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his siblings. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 6:00 pm in the Spirit and Truth Church, 525 S. Coy Road, Oregon Ohio where family and friends can gather beginning at 5:00 pm until service time. Memorial donations may be made to Spirit and Truth Church, 525 S. Coy Rd., Oregon Ohio.
