Richard E. West, 86, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015. Richard was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 22, 1929 to Arthur and Jane (Thomas) West. He worked as a security guard for many years at Parkview Hospital and ABC Security Company. Mr. West enjoyed playing the piano and served as an usher at the Lowe's Valentine Theater. He is survived by longtime Christian Friend Don J. Mooney II and brothers, Larry West and Daniel West. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 12:00 pm in Willow Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Richard's family in care of the funeral home.
