Richard L. Egert, 66, of Millbury, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2006, in Medical University Hospital. Richard was born in Toledo on August 8, 1939, to George and Mildred (Moege) Egert. Mr. Egert was an operating engineer for the Jeffer's Crane Company for 33 years, retiring in 2001. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church. A loving husband, father and grandfather, Richard truly enjoyed spending time with his family. Surviving are his loving wife, Maryanne; daughters, Deborah (Michael) Dazley, Rebecca (Bruce) Chambers, Lori (Matthew) Berry and Kelly (Chris) Sage; mother, Mildred Egert; grandchildren, Cori, Cody, Carly, Caitlin, Christy, Andrew, Leanne, Zachary, Joshua, Jacob, Benjamin and his special brother, Cork Pratt. He was preceded in death by his father, George; brother, William and grandchild, Nicholas. Friends and family may call in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, where visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Calvary Lutheran Church, 1930 Bradner Road, where family will receive guests one hour prior to the services. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions in Richard's memory may be made to the Shelter House Fund at Calvary Lutheran Church.
