Richard C. Gray Sr., 88, of Barefoot Bay Florida, formerly of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on January 27, 2014. Richard was born on April 26, 1925 to Albert and Clara (Peters) Gray. He was a US Army veteran of WW II. On July 10, 1948, he married Joan M. Taylor. Richard coached the Longfellow Peewee and Colt baseball teams and was a member of the Barefoot Bay Over 60 Softball League. His memberships included St. Mark Lutheran Church, Toledo and Concordia Lutheran Church, Barefoot Bay Florida. Richard is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joan; children, Richard (Kathleen) Gray Jr., and Pamela (Robert) Rickard; grandchildren, Heather and Brittany Gray, Tiffany (Nathan) Genton, and Patrick Rickard; step-grandchildren, Heather and Sara Robbins and great-grandson, Grady. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Iris Fagan.
