Richard J. Harmon, 44, of Oregon, Ohio and formerly of Arizona passed away Sunday, June 22, 2003 in Tempe, Arizona. Richard was born on December 24, 1958 in Toledo to Raymond and Susan (Guba) Harmon Sr. He was a 1977 graduate of Waite High School. Richard left Toledo shortly after graduation and lived in the Phoenix area for the last 20 years. He was employed as a saleman and manager at Spycraft Company. Richard was an avid motorcyclist and semi-pro desert racer. Richard died doing what he loved most, riding his motorcycle. He was a very caring person who loved his family including his two dogs, Tasha and Bare. Surviving are his mother, Susan Harmon; brother, Raymond (Dawn) Harmon Jr.; sister, Tina (Kevin) Harmon-Barker; 5 nieces and nephews and his longtime childhood friend, Paul Hauck. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 am in the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon where visitation will be Friday from 2 to 9 pm. Interment will be private. Following funeral services a wake will be held in the basement of St. Thomas Church at White & Idaho Streets.
