Richard A. Kollarik, 47, formerly of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on June 23, 2011 in his home. He was born on October 16, 1963 to Stephen and Crystal (Lewis) Kollarik. Richard was a Veteran of the US Army and worked for Roadway Express for 22 years before retiring in 2010. He enjoyed dirt bike racing, building, rock climbing, camping, and was a member of the Dux Motorcycle Club. Richard is survived by his wife, Christine; children, Richie (Allysha) and Devin Kollarik; mother, Crystal Hardy; sisters, Velda (Mike) Hiser, Bonnie (Frank) Wicher, Shiela (Alan) Neighbor; brothers, Mike (Trisha) Kollarik and Clint Hardy; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen; in-laws, Jim and Mary Ann Phalen. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Restlawn Memorial Park.
