Richard C. Lecrone, 70, of Walbridge , Ohio passed away Monday, September 27, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo . He was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 1, 1939 to Charles 'œPat' and Twyla (Tiplady) Lecrone. Richard was a graduate of Lake High School and inducted into their Baseball Hall of Fame. He had been employed as a longshoreman at the Toledo Docks until 1994. Richard enjoyed horse racing and watching Detroit Red Wings hockey. He was an avid sports fan and coached basketball and softball for many years. Surviving are his special friend of 38 years, Mary Shroyer; sister, Beverly (Karol) Pupos; special niece, Michelle (Mike) McDougall; nieces and nephews, Kelly (Ron) Permar, Chris (Jennifer), Eric (Lynn) Geiner; great nieces and nephews, Morgan, Mike, McKenna, Ashton, Andrew, Kelsey, Nathan, Ethan, Owen and Claire. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kenneth. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road on Friday, October 1 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral at 1:00 pm.
