Richard "Ricky" A. Torres, Jr., 21, of Toledo, OH passed away Saturday, September 27, 2003 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Ricky was born on May 12, 1982 in Toledo, OH to Richard Torres, Sr. and Cynthia Revilla . He was employed with various construction companies as a roofer. Ricky was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and a member of the Glass City Boxing Gym. Ricky was 7 time Golden Gloves State Champ in the 112 lb. class. Surviving are his loving parents, Richard Torres Sr. and Cynthia Revilla; children, Alissa Torres and her mother, Robin Zimmerman, Richard Torres III , Kayla Torres and their mother, Sarah Beacher. Ricky was the beloved grandson of Eloisa Torres and Cesario Torres; beloved brother of Jesika Marie Torres and Erica Eloise Torres. He is also survived by his large extended family. Friends and family may call at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-9 p.m. with the recitation of the rosary on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Friday, October 3, 2003 at 8:45 a.m. and proceed to Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 728 S. St. Clair Street, Toledo, Ohio for Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
