Richard Rill, 53, of Toledo, passed away June 17, 2009. He was born on October 6, 1955, to Melvin Sr. and Margaret (Fejes) Rill. Richard was employed with North Star Steel of Monroe, MI for 21 years retiring in 2002. He enjoyed listening to the Rolling Stones and was an avid OSU Fan. Richard is survived by his wife, Mary Jo; son, Richard L. (Laura Poore) Rill Jr.; daughter Melody (Dave) Bitkowski; brothers; Mel (Pat) Rill, Steve (Alanah) Rill, Peggy (Rod) Michaels, grandchildren, Tiffanie and Halie Poore and one on the way; brothers-in-law, John (Mary) Swanson and Mike Swanson, and step mother, Rose Rill; special dogs, Little Bit, Cici, Haley, and Pixie. He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, John and Carol Swanson, and daughter, Melissa Rill. Visitation will be Sunday, June 21, 2009 from 2-9 p.m. at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, 440 South Coy Road, Oregon. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 26, 2009 at 1 p.m. Inurnment will follow at North Oregon Cemetery.
