Rita M. Helle, 79 of Pemberville, Ohio and formerly of Cedar Point Road, Oregon passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg. Rita was born in Maumee, Ohio to Joseph and Rose (Olwick) Ryan. She was a member of St. Michael'™s Catholic Church, Gibsonburg. Rita enjoyed gardening and worked on the family farm with her husband, taking their produce to the Erie Street Market. Her real love was spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Lawrence C. Jr.; children, Daniel, Larry, Diane (Tom) Dauer; 6 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; brothers, William and Joseph Ryan; sisters, Mary Ann Pruss and Shirley Keil. Also surviving are special family friends, Jack Dunbar, Richard and Barb Henry. Rita was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, George and Leonard Ryan. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Michael'™s Catholic Church, Gibsonburg where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the Mass. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery Gibsonburg.
