Rita M. Wetzel, 62, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away March 1, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 17, 1948 to Leonard and Rita (Freckelton) DeMuth. Rita was employed in the assembly department at Jac Products for over 12 years. She was a member of the Women'™s Committee with Local #12. Surviving are her sons, John (Tammi) Demecs, Leonard Wetzel and Milton (Trina) Wetzel; step-son, Tim Wetzel; step-daughter, Tammy Wetzel; grandchildren, Alina, John, Daniel, Josh, Heather, Shari, Gabriel, Madison, Travis, Ashley, Wendy and Tommy; step-grandchildren, Alex, Mark and Phillip; great grandchildren, Sophia and Andrea; brothers, Lenny (Susan) and Paul (Patricia) DeMuth. Rita was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Tom Demecs Sr. and Milton Wetzel; son Tom Demecs Jr. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Ave. on Friday from 2-8 p.m., and where funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
