Robert L. Asman, 86, of Millbury, Ohio, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2009, at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. He was born in Toledo on November 29, 1922, to William and Elsie (Langenbacher)Asman. Mr. Asman was a US Army veteran of World War II. Robert was employed by the Ohio Turnpike Commission for over 25 years, retiring as superintendent of patron services. Mr.Asman was a member of Genoa American Legion Post and the Oak Harbor Masonic Lodge. Surviving are his loving wife, Laura; daughters,Bonnie (Jim) Hemp and Linda (Tom) Robison; grandchildren,Brent Robison,Sarah and Matthew Hemp;great-grandchildren, Connor,Jordan, Matthew and Jack Robison. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Elmer Asman. Funeral services will be private and there will be no visitation.
