Robert Wayne Clark, 89, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania. Robert was born in Fremont, Ohio on October 7, 1928 to Emanuel and Ada (Rose) Clark. Robert was a Veteran of World War II, where he worked as a machine gun instructor. He was a builder and contractor, eventually starting his own business, Clark Builders. Robert enjoyed bowling, fishing, casinos, prospecting for gold and traveling with his wife. Surviving is his loving wife, of 51 yrs., Louise; children, Roy Wayne (Kellie) Hutcheison, Josephine (Tom) Curtis and Diane (Michael) Platt; siblings, Kenny, Gail and Frances; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; children, Bobby and Debbie; granddaughter, Heather; and siblings, Ardith, Myrtle, Art, Virgil, Doris, Artie, Marvin and Richard. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury on Friday, April 20 from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Saturday, April 21 at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
