Robert W. Breese, 78, of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2011. He was born on March 29, 1932 in Toledo, Ohio to Clarence and Agnes (Garry) Breese. Bob was a graduate of Clay High School and went on to graduate from the University of Toledo. He worked for the State of Ohio Department of Transportation as a Professional Civil Engineer. He was involved in many projects including the Craig Bridge and all of the highways around Toledo during his 42 year career. He retired in 1996. Bob was a 70 year member of East Christian Church and is currently a member of Waterville Community Church. He was active as an Oregonian, a YMCA Board Member and was part of the Velvetone Choraliers. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Clara; sons, Dean (Cindy), Douglas (Barb) and Dave (Lori); brothers, Don (Diane) Breese and Gary (Carol) Breese; sister, Martha Hecklinger; grandchildren, Nicole Breese, Lindsy (Don) Delco, Nathan (Jennie Kormanyos) Breese, Riley Breese, Bennett Breese, Dana Breese and Cole Breese. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 14, 2011 at Waterville Community Church, 8217 Dutch Rd., Waterville, Ohio from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
