Robert D. Brown, 68, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away on Friday, October 17, 2003 in his home. Robert was born in Oregon Township on July 11, 1935 to Lawrence and Mary (Byers) Brown. Mr. Brown worked for 34 years as a glassworker for the Libbey Owens Ford Company before his retirement in 1987. He was a member of Lotus Lodge #625 Free and Accepted Masons and Prince of Peace Lutheran Church where he served as church elder. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Surviving are his sons, Robert D. (Diane Nichols) Brown Jr., Daniel J.(Debra) Brown; daughters, Cynthia J. (Steven) Magrum, Kathy E.(Dale) Davis; brothers, Fred and William Brown; sister, Diana Wells; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. The family wishes to especially thank Bob's extended family, Floyd and Rosemary Rose for all there loving care and concern. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Monday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 4155 Pickle Road, Oregon Ohio. Interment will be in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions in Bob's memory can be made to either Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
